Baroque music is a vibrant, varied, and endlessly entertaining living tradition performed by imaginative 21st-century virtuosos. This season, discover the brilliant Wonder Women project by Christina Pluhar and L’Arpeggiata with guest vocalists. Visionary director Jonathan Cohen leads the Handel and Haydn Society in cantatas by J. S. Bach and Telemann, plus one of the Brandenburg concertos. Concerto Köln returns with a wide-ranging program of early-music gems, including a Vivaldi double concerto performed by violinist Shunske Sato and recorder player Max Volbers in his Carnegie Hall debut.
